netkas has updated FakeSMC, a quick trip to netkas.org will get you the kext. Installation is simple, just put it into /Extra/<whatever you use for extensions here>, If you followed the guide from macyourpc that would be /Extra/KextStore. Then rebuild the cache in /Extra, if you use one. I recommend MKextTool as provided with the install cd for managing that cache.

As always, backup first. Think about what you are going to do second. Only then make changes to your system. It takes just a few moments to think this through and ask a question if you aren't sure. It takes hours to recover from a bricked system...
